This website is a static site without login, forms, or third-party scripts (except for the analytics described below). No tracking cookies, no third-party cookies and no user profiles are created. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you access the site, Cloudflare processes technically necessary connection data — including IP address, date, time of the request, transferred data volume, browser and operating system information — to deliver the content and to defend against attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and reliable operation).

Provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF); EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply additionally. A data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is in place — DPA.

Web analytics (Pirsch Analytics)

Pirsch Analytics is used for statistical reach analysis — a cookieless, privacy-friendly web analytics tool. Pirsch works entirely without cookies and does not collect personal data. IP addresses are not stored.

Since no personal data is processed, the GDPR does not apply to this processing and no consent is required.

Local storage in the browser

The dark/light mode preference is stored in the browser's localStorage. This information stays on your device and is never transmitted to a server.
