An early version of card.education needed a choice picker. However, the options back then were pretty limited. The established solutions were all still using jQuery.

It just went against my principles to burden my beautiful new project with jQuery just for a choice picker.

So I wrote my own.

I tested it with Cypress — both mouse interaction and keyboard-only control. All without any AI, by the way.

I still remember those intense weeks — but I enjoyed it immensely. Of course, I also needed a Symfony FormType for it.

As far as I know, no one but me has ever used choosy.js.

I don't use it myself anymore, either, because Symfony now offers a great integration for Tom Select. But it was still fun.
